Tameka Foster found out about her divorce from Usher Raymond online just like everybody else. She lived with him, married him and is the mother of his two children but she found out by her friends calling her up asking “are you ok.”

“It was rumored (on the internet), so friends and family called, saying, ‘Are you OK?’ I didn’t really understand why,” Foster told People magazine. “But Usher and I weren’t really speaking then. He was away recording, and I was angry at other things going on. He filed two days later.” (more…)

On Monday, Usher released his new single Papers about his messy divorce from estranged beast wife Tameka Raymond, but it has been revealed that the he is the one holding up his divorce because he hasn’t signed off on them papers. Usher’s new song, Papers, ( To listen to Papers Click Here ) is from his forthcoming album reportedly now entitled Raymond versus Raymond – was written by Sean Garett and centers on Usher’s split from his estranged wife and former stylist. In Papers, Usher talks about giving his all and receiving nothing in return, although he separated himself from the world, especially his mother.

He sings: “I gave my heart and turned my back against the world/ Cuz you were my girl! / I done near lost my mama/ I done been through so much drama / I done turned into the man that I never though I’d be / I’m ready to sign those papers! I done took all I can take, but you leave me no options girl … I can’t deny how much I loved you / I done gave up everything I had too / As hard as it is I’m afraid I’ve gotta say, I’m ready to sign them papers.”

Tameka Foster Raymond has hired an attorney. She will be represented in her divorce hearing by Randy Kessler. Kessler has previously worked for T.I., Mack 10 and Evander Holyfield. Usher filed for divorce on Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond after less than two years of marriage. The singer whose real name is Usher Raymond IV has two sons with Foster Raymond. Kessler said Monday his 38-year-old was a “faithful wife and loving mother.” He declined to comment on the singer’s conduct during the marriage. source

Everybody has been talking about how steamy Usher’s new video “Trading Places,” is. They have been bashing him and saying he was disrespectful to his wife. Usher lost some of his sex symbol availability when he got married hence the need to show he can still entertain every fan out there, married or not. The backlash he’s suffered is why a lot of artist don’t even admit when their married or getting married. Marriage used to be a real no no in this industry but people don’t shun it as much today as they used to. Usher is the one exception to the marriage rule, he gets no slack. He gets bad press for his marriage, his wife, his career, responsibility, his business moves, the man can’t win.
Tameka Foster Raymond is expecting the couple’s second child, and she fully stands by her man. “My husband is a consummate artist and entertainer,” Foster, 37, told ESSENCE.com. “This video is strictly entertainment and was made for his fans. I am clear that he is a sexy man and looks amazing in this clip. I support my husband in his endeavors.” After all she has papers on him and nobody else!
