Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will co-host the 16th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Dec. 11 in Oslo, Norway.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee, whose Peace Prize is given annually to the person or group whose work best promotes global peace, has also announced that Wyclef Jean, Toby Keith and Donna Summer will be among the featured performers at the concert. More names will be added in the coming weeks.

Geir Lundestad, secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, said of the Smiths, “Together they’ve had a global impact on the arts and philanthropy and will be excellent ambassadors for peace.”

The couple said in a statement, “The opportunity to recognize the laureate’s contributions to the world peace movement will be an awe-inspiring experience. We are both humbled and honored to take part in the Nobel Peace Prize Concert this year, and look forward to sharing the historic evening with artists and humanitarians from across the globe.”

Columbia Pictures is developing a third installment of the high-octane “Bad Boys” franchise. Their hoping to have a script that would reunite director Michael Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. At this point, with the project in the early stages, none has a deal to return. The “Bad Boys” movies feature Smith and Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, caught up in cases involving car chases and explosions. The first “Boys,” released in 1995, helped launch Bay as a director and Smith as an action star even though it was not a fire-stamped blockbuster — it grossed $66 million domestically and $141 million worldwide. The sequel, released in 2003 when Bay and Smith’s stars had risen, grossed $138 million domestically and $273 million worldwide. All parties have expressed a willingness to return if a story can be hammered out. One potential hurdle, however, would be the costly deals with the players. source

The unidentified woman claims that Smith, who has two children with wife Jada Pinkett Smith, “placed his order” for a man after he trusted that she could “guarantee discretion.” “I had to reassure him over and over that I could guarantee discretion,” she said. “Once I convinced him I could, he placed his order. It was for a man. I had 14 women working for me and two guys. You’d be surprised at how many Hollywood stars requested the services of the guys.”
