On Saturday, August 23, actress Malinda Williams and former rapper and present celebrity deejay Derrick “D-Nice” Jones wed in a quaint ceremony at The Mezzanine in Newark, New Jersey.

After playing the leading man in Mariah’s video Bye Bye, Nick and Mariah fell for each other and didn’t waste anytime moving to the next biggest step, marriage. “I don’t think anyone realized what we already knew, that we were going to get married,” Carey, 39, told People. On April 25th, 27 year old Nick proposed to Mariah on the rooftop of her Manhattan apartment with a 17-carat, pink-diamond ring wrapped up like a Ring Pop candy ring. They invited family and friends to Mariah’s estate in the Bahamas for the wedding but the guest thought they were joining the couple for a music video shoot. The only ones who had any inkling of the nuptials were those who had seen the couple’s matching back tattoos. Hers reads “Mrs. Cannon” and his “Mariah.” Da Brat was one of the guest at the ceremony. They ate live Maine lobsters and sipped Dom Pérignon champagne flown in for the beachfront ceremony.
“I haven’t been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, ‘Don’t pass out,’ ” Cannon told People about the ceremony.

Beyonce is really Mrs. Carter officially anyway! The couples paperwork for the marriage license was finally filed Friday in Scarsdale, New York. Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling told PEOPLE that the license lists the wedding date as April 4 and was received on Friday afternoon. Jay-Z and Beyonce applied for the license three days before the ceremony which was small and private. In attendance were friends and family, including Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, Destiny’s Child members, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

So this is what Beyonce was supposed to be wearing at the wedding ceremony,
a veil and a white dress with a low V-neck and thick straps. Her hair was in a half ponytail with ringlet curls, decorated with a white flower.
Jay-Z nor Beyonce have commented on the nuptials but Mary J. Blige did at their latest concert in Greensboro, North Carolina. These are her words before she started her set,”Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B,” before starting her set with “You’re All I Need.”

At the Bloomberg building in NYC and a party will be thrown on the rooftop of Jay-Z’s apartment.
Reporters just spotted Jay-Z’s mother Gloria Carter at the Bloomberg building. Matthew Knowles is also there. Ms. Carter is wearing a formal white dress. Solange was also spotted there wearing white! Kelly showed up, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow……..to be continued
