Record executive Kevin Liles, rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, singer Mary J. Blige and rapper Jay-Z are seen at a “Promote The Vote Block Party” in support of Democratic presidential nominee U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) November 3, 2008 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Campaign for Change staged the event one day before the U.S. presidential election.

This will inspire some people to vote. You never know who will show up in those voting lines with you. There are no special places for celebrities to vote. Beyonce, Diddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, and Russell Simmons all showed up to voting lines in Miami yesterday. They surprised worn out voters who had been standing in line for up to 8 hours.

The lines are long in Georgia for early voting, but its well worth the wait. It makes you kind of proud to see all these people engaged in the democratic process. Friday when I went to vote it was pouring down raining and the line was crazy long. I didn’t have an umbrella so I said I would do it first thing this morning. Well this was what it looked like a t 8:30 a.m. when voting started.
I wish I could of gotten the side of the building because there’s like two to three hundred or so people not in these pictures. People were lined around the whole building and parking lot. It was mind was blowing. Needless to say I’ll be out there earlier tomorrow……LOL
Imagine what the lines will look like on November 4th…..
Oh, on Friday a lady roled down her window and said “Do you know why there’s so many people here.” “Voting for Barack Obama,” I replied. She tried to say she was just trying to get….and I said vote Obama and walked away……LMAO
