Jayson Williams Plea Deal Sending Him to Jail

Troubled ex-NBA star Jayson Williams is heading to jail. The former St. John’s center, who played with the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets, reportedly accepted a plea deal that could come with a three-year sentence. The agreement would resolve a case that began in February 2002, when Williams – after a night of drinking – fatally blasted limousine driver Costas (Gus) Christofi inside the hoopster’s New Jersey mansion. Witnesses testified that Williams attempted to cover up the crime by placing the weapon in the dead man’s hands and asking them to lie about the killing. Williams has insisted the shooting was an accident. The Associated Press reported Williams will plead guilty Friday to aggravated assault, and must serve a minimum of 18 months in prison. The maximum term would be three years.

Williams, 41, was scheduled to begin a retrial on reckless manslaughter charges in January. His previous trial in 2004 ended with a jury acquitting Williams of the most serious charge, aggravated manslaughter. The panel convicted him of cover-up charges, but failed to reach a decision on reckless manslaughter. The deal that would land Williams behind bars is the latest blow to the gregarious New Yorker. His father, Elijah Joshua “E.J.” Williams, died Nov. 10 and was just buried last Saturday in South Carolina. In September, Williams wept in a Manhattan courtroom and insisted he was flat broke. His wife – who is divorcing him – was seeking $200,000 in back maintenance and child support.

Williams earned $87 million playing for the Nets.

Rihanna’s interview with Diane Sawyer started out describing them as young, rich and successful entertainers who were each other’s first loves. She says they were best friends who fell in love. “The more in love they became the more dangerous it became because it was an obsession.”
Rihanna says it all plays back in her head, and she gets ashamed and angry all over again when she see’s the pictures. She’s embarassed and humiliated by the event. Heres how it all was supposed to start:
They were in the car, she saw a text. Chris lied about the text. Rihanna busted him in a lie, she wouldn’t drop it. He couldn’t take that she wouldn’t drop it. It escalate into Chris being violent against her. Her mouth was filled with blood.
He said things to scare her and he had no soul in his eyes…he was blank and blacked out. There was no person when she looked at him, he had no soul and it was like he had nothing to lose. He kept driving, Chris threw the phone out the window. Then he put her in a head lock and bit her several times.. When they asked Rihanna what she did, she said she didn’t hit him (that contradicts the police report). She said it was ignorance for people to think she had provoked this incident. She said even if she hit him first that wasn’t an excuse. She said she kept thinking “when is it going to stop,” when will people hear her scream. She said she was battered, bleeding and had a swollen face. She didn’t have a plan. He had never done this before. She also said she still loved him and wished him well.

Lou Dobbs says someone fired a shot at his wife

Controversial CNN commentator Lou Dobbs said a shot was fired at his wife outside their New Jersey home and he said it’s because of his critics. “They’ve created an atmosphere and they’ve been unrelenting in their propaganda,” Dobbs said on his radio show. (Who is they? You mean you created Lou, you created)
Dobbs said he’s been receiving threatening phone calls for weeks and connected the gunshot to his advocacy for a crackdown on illegal immigration.

His wife and driver were outside the Wantage home Oct. 5 when they heard the gunshot, said State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones.

The bullet didn’t penetrate the siding and fell to the ground outside, he said.

“I now – it’s become part of a way of life – the anger, the hate, the vitriol, but it’s taken a different tone where they’ve threatened my wife,” Dobbs said on the radio show earlier this week.

“They’ve now fired a shot at my house while my wife was standing next to the car. It’s become something else.”

Okay so lets just start by saying that you are not, I repeat not supposed to see concealer. Concealer is supposed to hide your blemishes and or even out your skin tone. Sometimes the makeup has to be extra heavy for lighting and venue circumstances but damn who applied this mess? Cheesin’ this hard didn’t help Taraji either. Looking like she’s wearing the mask of Zorro.

Venus and Serena Williams are up next. With the right amount of makeup, a good stylist and beautician, these girls can hold their own. But……do not, not, catch them in bad lighting, in the wrong wig, with a bad makeup job etc. cause they just start looking like men in dresses. Everything just goes straight to hell. Serena looks dead on her mother in this picture, not a good look at all.

Lighting crews need to follow them everywhere although, there seems to be many other things going wrong here.

Eve has also been a victim of the concealer and she adds to the mistake by letting her makeup artist apply this extra light pink blush. Sigh.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got tatt’ed up and they want everyone to know so. After weeks of hammering out details on their prenuptial agreement, the newlyweds professed their love for each other with ink at a Los Angeles tattoo parlor over the weekend.

“I think the best tattoo experiences are the spontaneous ones, because that way you are not only left with the tattoo, but an amazing memory to go along with it!” Kardashian wrote on her blog. “I’m definitely a believer in tattoos as long as they are thoughtful and have significant meaning, which all of mine do.”

The newlyweds were having dinner when Kardashian, who already had two tattoos, suggested they go get inked.
“I just knew I wanted a tattoo for Lamar in the web of my hand, and then once we got to the shop, we decided on getting each other’s initials,” she wrote. “I got “LO” in cursive on my right hand and he got “KO” on both hands.”

She added, “Tattoos are something you’ll have for the rest of your life, so it’s important to get one that truly means something to you.”

What the hell does Marcus Jordan look like wearing Adidas? Nike has paid for this young mans lifestyle with a little help from the NBA. Marcus Jordan signed on to go to the University of Central Florida who has a multimillion-dollar contract with Adidas that specifically states, all of its coaches and athletes are to use Adidas shoes and equipment. Adidas paid the school $3 million so far and are now upset because Marcus, Michael Jordan’s 18 year old son refuses to wear the brand showing up in Nike’s Air Jordan’s.
Marcus is not backing down. He made these remarks:
“When I was being recruited, we talked about it,” he tells the Orlando Sentinel. “They said they had talked to the Adidas people, and it wasn’t going to be a problem. I think everybody understands how big of a deal it is for my family.”

He also says that he means no disrespect to Adidas and will happily wear other Adidas product, “but the shoes are going to be Jordan brand.” Adidas paid the school, they didn’t pay Marcus, thats one. I’m sure the games will be sold out with the possibility of MJ being in the stands, thats two. Somebody needs to put an end to schools using college athletes, making all this money off them and the athletes benefiting only by a meal plan. Enough already.

Hulk Hogan came “damn close” to killing himself after downing a cocktail of Xanax and rum, but an unexpected phone call saved his life.

In his new tell-all, “My Life Outside the Ring,” the notorious wrestler-turned-reality-TV-star admits he hit rock bottom after his divorce from ex-wife Linda, even reaching for a gun and putting his finger on the trigger. Fortunately, a phone call from his “Gladiators” co-star Laila Ali, who noticed that Hogan was looking distracted earlier at work, prevented him from ending his life.

Although the wrestler admits that a combination of “going to [a] strip club, drinking, getting all that attention from girls” and coming back to an empty home that night in December 2007 is what nearly pushed him over the edge, he does believe his wife of 23 years was the cause of his distress. “Hell, [Linda's] spending time with a 19-year-old boyfriend – in the house that I pay for,” he writes of his ex’s alleged dalliances with student Charlie Hill.

Hogan also claims that Linda is an alcoholic who was abusive to their kids – he says he once found her threatening to beat their son, Nick, with a wine bottle. The incident occurred after the then-17-year-old’s widely reported car crash in 2007: Nick was behind the wheel of his dad’s Toyota Supra when he lost control and hit a median, wrapping the sports car around a tree. In the tome, out Oct. 27 from St. Martin’s Press, Hogan for the first time discusses the legalities of the accident – and complains about some of its possible repercussions: The former WWF champ says a civil suit being brought against him by the family of Nick’s passenger – who is now permanently brain-damaged – is “for more money than I’ve made in my whole career.”

Hogan’s bank account already took a hit after his July 2009 divorce settlement with Linda, who walked away with a promise of $40,000 a month. But the cash isn’t the only thing Hogan didn’t want to part with. He recalls: “I practically begged her, ‘Please, don’t file. Our son’s just had this accident – if we do this now, it’ll make us look like the Britney Spears family. Please, don’t file for divorce.’”

But Linda did – and the rest, as they say, is history. At least they have six seasons of “Hogan Knows Best” chronicling their highs – and the lows they tried so desperately to hide. “In public, we were all having the time of our lives, but that public image only further masked the problems that were growing behind the scenes,” Hogan writes. “There were plenty of times when Linda would lose it, but no one wanted to see that kind of ugliness on TV.”

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s marriage is about to go from reality to real. Reports say that the almost definitely doomed couple have finally hammered out the details of their prenuptial agreement and that they will get a wedding license this week. Previously, it was reported that Kardashian was holding out on signing the pre-nup with the L.A. Laker until she negotiated a few details.

In the case of a split, the reality star was demanding $500,000 for every year they were married, $25,000 a month in general support, their house, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 a month for shopping, $1,000 for beauty care, and courtside Lakers tickets for everyone in her family.

Forgive me for thinking that this agreement was supposed to be about Lamar and Khloe and her welfare after they split (which they will). I wouldn’t even entertain her making arrangements for her family at my place of work after we separated. Damn gold diggers.

Sacramento mayor and former NBA All Star Kevin Johnson was robbed on the streets of San Francisco over the weekend while trying to be a Good Samaritan. In a post on his blog, Johnson said he put down his garment bag near Union Square to help an elderly man get into a cab. When he went back to retrieve it less than 30 seconds later, it was gone. Johnson – mayor since 2008 and the first African American to hold the position – said he lost a suit, a pair of shoes and some personal items.

“Not the end of the world, but frustrating,” Johnson wrote. “The real crime was the vulnerability of it all, the idea that I could leave my bag on a crowded street, turn my back for 30 seconds and have my stuff stolen.” Johnson said he was in San Francisco to attend a conference with representatives of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

“Next time I see San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, I’ll tell him the story and give him my word nothing like that will happen to him in Sacramento,” Johnson added. “And I’ll hope I can make good on the promise.” source

Usher Had to Call the Cops on Tameka

So Usher is supposedly going through the baby moma drama, stalkerish type ish from his soon to be ex-wife, Tameka Foster. TMZ reports that Usher Raymond recently called the cops on Tameka accusing her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars.

Law enforcement sources say when officers arrived at the scene, Tameka Raymond was nowhere to be found.
Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher — but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher’s claim. But the drama didn’t end there — law enforcement sources tell us Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn’t leave. By the time cops arrived, Tameka had already split.

This isn’t the first time Tameka’s been accused of stalking, harassment etc. This chick really is proving ATLien right!

Tahiry and Joe Budden have broken up. They were in a relationship for about five years. He pretty much made a blog sensation by making her the center of his tv blog. She explains the breakup below:
Complex: You know Joe said the break-up is none of anyone’s business, etc. Were their multiple reasons or was there one big blowout?

Tahiry: Multiple reasons. He said it was nobody’s business? That’s what he said? ‘Cause he said so much. I don’t even know. At the end, he just lashed out all out of control.

Complex: What was the biggest deal-breaker for you?

Tahiry: I just feel like…I’m never going to speak bad about Joey. I love him. Five years. It was a long time. We were just growing apart. We were not in the same zip codes. I just didn’t feel like after five years we were building that foundation together. For a long time it was, “Joe, Joe, Tahiry, Tahiry.” When it was beneficial, it was Joe and Tahiry. But you know after five years, you’re supposed to feel like you’re building something. I didn’t feel like we were building anything.

Complex: Right. So this year, a lot of people have said that you helped Joey be relevant again…

Tahiry: I won’t say that I made him more relevant. I think that people got to know him through his blogs. People got to know a rapper who was on his downtime, who was busy underground, who was busy releasing these digital albums and stuff. I think that the minute he started recording these blogs and then they see this girl and are like, “Oh my god,” they’re like, “Where has he been?” It’s like a combination of things—getting to know the fun side of him, or how humble and normal he is, and how crazy his Latina girlfriend is. So I think people think we’re relatable. I wouldn’t say that I made him relevant, per se.

Complex: Did you ever feel exploited?

Tahiry: That’s a good question. My mom thinks I was. I enjoyed it. I didn’t care. To me, the first time we went on this whole blog thing it was sort of like fun to him. He thought he was onto something. I think it caught us both by surprise. I enjoyed it and I wouldn’t change it.

Complex: So, last week your Twitter account got hacked. There have been rumors that Joe was behind the hacking. He definitely did it? Seems a bit childish. Has he talked to you about that?

Tahiry: Again, a lot of it is out of control. He’s dealing with a lot of emotions. It’s five years so we’re both dealing with our emotions. You know if you’ve ever been hurt, or if you’ve ever lost something, or something’s just disappeared, or the rug was pulled from underneath you…if you don’t suffer, then you’ve never loved. Mo’Nique Might Be Effin Up Her Big Moment

Mo’Nique isn’t considered that “precious” by executives at Lionsgate, which produced her forthcoming film. In fact, insiders are saying the 41-year-old comedian’s bad attitude and shameless demands for money
may jeopardize her chance for Oscar glory – all this before the highly anticipated movie opens on Nov. 6.

The star was MIA Saturday night at the New York Film Festival premiere of the buzzworthy flick “Precious.” She also allegedly ditched her promotional duties during the Toronto Film Festival when she was denied a $100,000 appearance fee.

“That money didn’t even include hair and makeup costs. She also demanded that her glam squad fly first class,” sniped an incredulous industry source. “Apparently, she’s ignorant as to how the Hollywood system works.”

According to our snitch, exasperated studio chiefs suggested that executive producer Oprah Winfrey get involved to deflate Mo’Nique’s substantial ego, but even O couldn’t stop the actress from seeing green.

“Mo’Nique said she signed on to do this film for a small amount of money. She said she didn’t care about ‘no Oscar’ – all that mattered was ‘those Benjamins!’ Because Oprah and Tyler Perry are backing the film, she feels as though there should be a budget to pay for her promotional duties,” the source explains.

But the star’s attitude is starting to work against her. Winfrey and Tyler have reportedly instructed Lionsgate to put their promotional machine behind fellow stars Mariah Carey and Gabby Sidibe for the Oscar race. Those two are adept at playing the game; both turned up in New York and Toronto to push the film for free (although Carey, left, was 30 minutes late to Saturday’s Alice Tully Hall premiere and entered to boos from the audience in response to her tardiness).

“When people say, ‘You care more about money than winning an Oscar,’ well, what does an Oscar mean? An Oscar means more work when you win it, and that means more money!” retorts Mo’Nique in response to the allegations. “I couldn’t eat that Oscar. Everybody needs money, baby. That’s how we survive, right?”

Reps for Winfrey, Tyler and Lionsgate declined to comment, but the film’s director, Lee Daniels, was quick to say, “Mo’Nique is not a diva. She puts her soul into whatever she does. I love her very much.”

He does add, however, that “doing the press is hard for her because she’s in the moment.”

Should Mo’Nique wait for the movie to debut and her role to standout before she starts making financial demands? She clearly signed on to do the movie for a certain amount and now she’s changing the rules.

Jackson did have arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries. Most serious was his lungs, which the autopsy report said were chronically inflamed and had reduced capacity that might have left him short of breath.

But, according to the document, the lung condition was not serious enough to be a direct or contributing cause of death.

“His overall health was fine,” said Dr. Zeev Kain, chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine, who reviewed a copy of the autopsy report for the AP. “The results are within normal limits.” source

The hottest movie tickets on the Web on Sunday were for a film that doesn’t open for a month. Fans snapped up tickets to Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” – featuring scenes from the pop icon’s last rehearsals – as soon as they went on sale at 12:01 a.m.

“This Is It” accounted for 71% of all sales yesterday on the ticket site fandango.com.
New York showings aren’t sold out yet. Tickets can be purchased at any major movie ticketing Web site, or at the movie’s site, www.thisisit-movie.com. The film was pieced together from more than 100 hours of footage of Jackson preparing for his 50-show comeback tour at London’s O2 Arena, which was to have kicked off three weeks after he died on June 25. source

Jaimee Foxworth Gets temporary restraining order

Jaimee Foxworth – best known for her role as “Judy Winslow” on “Family Matters” — was granted a temporary restraining order against her longtime boyfriend after he allegedly became abusive.
According to documents filed in LA County Superior Court, Foxworth claims Michael Shaw physically and verbally abused her, and at one point grabbed her arm and dragged her along the floor through broken glass.

On another occasion, as Jaimee was feeding her son in the backseat of a car, she claims Shaw “pulled the car over, jumped into the backseat … tried to push [Jaimee] out of his car, and threatened to drive [her] son away.”

The judge granted the TRO the same day the papers were filed — Shaw has to stay 100 yards away from both her and her son. source

Mashonda Still Pissed at Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys stole her husband and Mashonda is still dealing with the after effects. After all, she and Swizz are still married. Mashonda tweeted an open letter to Alicia Keys… kinda putting her in check and on blast. She also said she might retweet this every day until she gets a response. Check the letter out when you pop the top.

After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I’ve never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I’ve reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK’s last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what’s real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the “people”, this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, Im sure you want to find a balance in this as well.

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.

If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I’m not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

To answer your tweet, choose smart over spark. Sparks burn everyone, be smart! Its simple actually, just think of the shoe being on the other foot.
