    Police in Atlanta, Georgia are investigating the Grand Hustle offices owned by rapper T.I., after two Molotov Cocktails were found in front of the building that houses the label. A SWAT team was called to the scene to remove the two explosives devices , while ATF agents are interviewing witnesses in an attempt to identify a suspect.     Lil Clifford Harris has been running around for over a year talking about how he’ll have to serve a year in federal prison, all the while, he knew his ass would be doing about TWO MONTHS! Trying to fool everybody. He’s been pushing his career, using this community service to get money, press and attention. Nucca only doing two months! Pathetic loser. I don’t care how much time he has to serve, my problem is the way he exploited the whole thing. Talking about leaving his family, how close he is with his baby boy and how he’s going to be worried about him and how he’ll cope. Ridiculous. He spends more time than this on the road touring. T.I. is to turn himself in to Forrest City’s low-security federal prison by noon on May 26. Lil Cliff had faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each charge in his three-count indictment. Now he’ll be credited for 305 days of home detention he already has served after being charged, so his stay at the Forrest City prison likely will be only two months. To think we were giving him credit for facing the music and turning over a new leaf. He had the devilish grin the whole time.

    A federal judge approved a plea deal Friday that is expected to send Atlanta rapper T.I. to prison for a little less than 10 months for trying to buy machine guns and ammo from undercover agents in 2007.

    U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell sentenced T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., to one year and one day under the negotiated plea. But the deal qualifies T.I. for credits likely to cut the sentence to about 298 days.
    The 27-year-old rapper, clad in a dark suit, thanked the judge and prosecutors for giving him the chance to cut his prison time by speaking to youths about the pitfalls of crime, drugs and gangs. He has delivered that message to thousands in recent months.

    “It means just as much to me to make you guys proud for what you have done as it does for me to make myself and my family proud,” he said at the sentencing hearing in downtown Atlanta.

    “I’m a man of integrity. I’m a man of morals, of standards, of principle,” the entertainer said.

    “Tip started us off with shrimp in his own homemade garlic sauce and garlic bread. The main course consisted of three choices of tilapia (seasoned with lemon pepper, Cajun spices or Old Bay seasoning). It was served over rice with a cheese broccoli mix.

    The food was absolutely phenomenal.”

    No TGIF for Clifford Harris. Tomorrow he will start serving his jail sentence and I’m sure he dreads it but in some kind of way may also be  happy that he can start putting this behind him. According to the plea agreement, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., will be sentenced to one year and a day at a federal detention facility.

    The extra day means T.I. can carve 15 percent off of his sentence with good behavior. Under U.S. Bureau of Prison rules, inmates can earn such credit only if they are sentenced to longer than a year in prison. T.I. should serve an estimated 298 days — or a little less than 10 months. He is expected to get credit for the two weeks he sat in jail after his arrest and before posting a $3 million bond.  To continue reading click

    T.I. pleaded guilty to illegal firearms possession and being a convicted felon with a firearm.

    Federal sentencing guidelines recommended T.I. serve at least four years and nine months behind bars.

    But T.I.’s defense team worked out an unheard-of deal with federal prosecutors: If T.I. would perform at least 1,000 hours of community service, telling kids about the pitfalls of crime, drugs and gangs and encouraging them to respect the law, he could surrender to the Bureau of Prisons a year later and get a reduced sentence.

    T.I. has fulfilled his part of the bargain, Steve Sadow, one of the rapper’s lawyers, said.

    “T.I. took this opportunity and ran with it beyond anyone’s expectations.”

    A sentencing memorandum filed Wednesday by T.I.’s defense team says the rapper has complied with all the requirements of his plea agreement. This includes serving 300 days of home confinement, attending more than 260 events and earning 1,006 hours of community service credit.

    T.I. has been to 25 states and spoken to tens of thousands of teens and adults.

    Over the past year, he went to 58 schools, 12 Boys and Girls Clubs, nine churches and other community functions. He was visited two Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice facilities, one in Columbus and another in DeKalb County.

    After T.I. spoke to 160 high school teenagers at the Georgia Supreme Court, Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears called the rapper’s presentation “outstanding.”

    “You have the courage to carefully search your soul, oftentimes wrestling with demons that the rest of us are terrified to disturb,” Sears wrote in a letter attached to the sentencing memo. “I am sure that you have touched many young lives.”

Lil Cliff who has been putting in a lot of work as well as community service since his arrest will spend a year and a day behind bars. They have joint custody of the two boys with the mother holding primary physical custody. Dixon’s attorney, Randy Kessler, says the woman is “very grateful” for the judge’s decision and called it “a complete victory.”

    T.I. is scheduled to appear in Fulton County Superior Court on the matter Tuesday.
    The two-time Grammy winner was ordered in September to pay more than $3,000 a month to LaShon Dixon — to whom he had been paying about $2,000 per month — as well as the boys’ private school tuition, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children’s extracurricular activities.
    The court ordered T.I. to pay the attorney fees by Nov. 19, said Dixon’s attorney, Randy Kessler.
    T.I. and Dixon are still negotiating child support and custody of the boys, ages 7 and 8. He also has two sons with his fiancee, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, of the defunct R&B group Xscape.

Your at an awards show to celebrate achievements…..Radio One’s had its fourth annual Dirty Awards last night and this is what happened. It’s safe to say these awards need to be ended.

    The beef between Shawty Lo and T.I. is not dead. Shawty Lo performed and was dissing Grand Hustle artist Yung LA’s song “Ain’t I” and T.I.’s boy Capitol recording artist Alfamega, allegedly threw a chair onto the stage. Then Yung LA and Big Kuntry jumped up on stage starting a fight that turned into a brawl. As you can see police broke that ish up with mace and arrest.
    How are they gone provoke a fight when their leader (T.I.) is already going to jail on some stupid sh!t he did. They put him in the middle of some beef and he doesn’t need the police saying he was the cause or reason behind none of this drama. Stupid! Somebody also jumped off the stage and allegedly beat down Shawty Lo’s brother.

This is the first time Harris has ever voted. “Feels like I’ve taken advantage of my right to become a part of the democracy,” said T.I. “It was definitely worth standing in line and doing all the things people complain about voting. I think it’s more than worth it.”
    T.I. originally thought that he couldn’t vote because he is a convicted felon until he researched and learned that under Georgia law felons are eligible to vote if they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.

    T.I.’ statement:
    “A lot of deceiving information has been reported regarding my recent child support proceeding. It is unfortunate that the media has been used to manipulate the circumstances and distort the facts. Those that know me, all know that there is nothing more important to me than my children. I have always supported all of my children financially, emotionally, and spiritually. This has always been the case and I will continue to do so in the future as this is my responsibility as a parent.

    To clarify the recent reports, in addition to the $2000 per month I pay in cash to Lashon Dixon, the mother of my sons Domani and Messiah, I also pay for their private schooling, medical insurance, clothing, food, gifts, birthdays and extracurricular activities. Their extra-curricular activities have included football, basketball, baseball, acting lessons, summer camp, and any other activities that they express a desire to be involved in that will contribute to them leading balanced lives and developing into well rounded individuals. I have also made an attempt to help Lashon with additional payments that have included a down payment to purchase her home, purchase of an automobile for her transportation and other financial obligations. These expenses are documented and are far in excess of the $2000 cash payment that is being paid direct to Lashon. She has chosen not to work and to live 100% from her child support receipts. This is the reason for her difficulties in making ends meet for herself.

    Not only do I support my boys 100% financially, I am also committed to their emotional and spiritual growth. While I would enjoy the luxury of being present for all of my children’s activities, unfortunately the demands of my career and the need to secure my family’s financial security as well as insuring my kid’s personal growth dictates that I travel constantly and work tirelessly. Despite my hectic schedule, I make it a priority to be present for important occasions in their lives. This includes being home for their birthdays, school functions and being present at as many of their extra-curricular activities as I am able. I also am available to them at all times to provide guidance and support as a father regardless of my schedule or location. They are my first priority.

    Again, there is nothing more important to me than my children. This is demonstrated by my effort to support them in every way that I can. Any reasonable person knowing the facts would conclude that all of my children’s needs are being far exceeded. My support of them in every way is documented and cannot be legitimately challenged.

    I believe that it is every parent’s responsibility to provide unconditional love and support for their kids. I have made every attempt to do so for my boys. Again, I provide 100% of their financial support. I should only be judged for my actions and not Lashon’s conscience decision not to work and not to contribute to the financial support of our boys.”

    T.I.’s attorney, John Mayoue, released his own exclusive statement to StreetCred.com supporting T.I.’s views on the matter:

    “The evidence in this case from both sides is that T.I. is a loving, involved and generous father. The mother of his two children, Ms. Dixon testified to this during the recent hearing.

    T.I. is an exemplary parent who is seeking joint legal custody of his children. They spend approximately 40% of their time with him.

    In addition to the $2000 per month in child support that he pays direct to their mother, T.I. also pays for their private school, medical insurance and thousands of dollars per month in clothing, gifts, vacations and extracurricular activities that include basketball, baseball, football, acting lessons, summer camp, and much more. T.I. funds 100% of his children’s financial support. Their mother has chosen not to be employed at this time.”

    The mother of two of T.I.’s children has sued the platinum-selling rapper for child support, saying she is having a hard time supporting the boys and now wants a court-ordered arrangement for payment.
    Lashon Dixon and T.I. have known each other since they were teenagers and dated before he reached megastar status. They have two sons together, ages 7 and 8.Dixon says T.I. currently gives her about $2,000 a month to care for the boys, but now she wants to schedule a more stable stipend that is commensurate with his success. Both parties appeared in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday.
    In March, T.I. is expected to be sentenced to at least a year in prison after he pleaded guilty to federal weapon possession charges.

    At Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash Shawty Lo started his set with a video detailing his escape from an FBI agent who had strong similarities to T.I. The video featured the agent getting stomped to the floor by his female superior because he couldn’t capture Shawty Lo.
    Shawty Lo brought out a lot of Bankhead artists to suggest that he is the official “King of Bankhead.” D4L, D.G. Yola, and Dem Franchize Boyz all hit the stage with him. Ludacris also graced the stage to perform his verse off the “Dey Know Remix.”
    If your thinking that this isn’t really beef then what about this….Shawty Lo put this on a big screen for the audience to view, “A New King is Born.” Now that’s saying he’s taking over, he’s the boss!
    When T.I. took the stage as the headliner he made numerous references to “haters” who continue running their mouths about him. T.I. hit back at Shawty Lo by abruptly stopping a song and shouting out “Get, Get, Get It!” He also mocked Shawty Lo by doing a dance to “oohs” from the crowd. T.I. then shouted out Bankhead, King of the South and that he owns Atlanta, “This is my Birthday Bash! I own this sh*t!”

    Anyway, MTV is giving Lil Cliff Harris, the felon a reality show. It will air sometime in 2009. It’s going to cover him working on and releasing his latest album and I’m sure they’ll throw in all the wack rappers he’s gonna try and put out.
    My question- Why does MTV feel the need to give a convicted felon a reality show. Their planning on putting him in the face of children everyday and for what? T.I. used to sell drugs, he raps about violence and drugs and just recently was busted for buying an arsenal of illegal weapons. He’s being rewarded for being an idiot. He has six children and now he’ll be leaving them for a bid in jail. I guess it makes for good television !

    T.I. and Shawty Lo have been in a very public beef the last few months, exchanging words on the radio, songs and even releasing videos against one another. Shawty Lo recently released a video offering a reward for T.I.’s high school picture then later posted a video where he showed and talked it.

    Well they’ll soon be sharing the stage at “Birthday Bash” put on by Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 at Phillip’s Arena in Atlanta on June 14th. Let’s see if Shawty Lo’s diabetes start acting up or not. I take that back, he knows T.I. a$$ has some strict rules laid out for him in order to remain a free main. There won’t be any problems.
    Young Jeezy, Plies, Soulja Boy and Webbie are also confirmed to be performing at the show.

    It’s called being a father, a caregiver to your children. You never hear mothers say I’m babysitting my kids, can’t go with you cause I’m babysitting my 6 kids….wtf!
    Anyway, T.I. recently had an interview where he said he spent his time on house arrest, babysitting. “I was the babysitter,” he said. “You always know it’s somebody there now.” He says he was able to spent a lot more time with his other five children, and was grateful despite his legal situation at the time.
    Six kids and he got the damn nerve to say he’s babysitting!
    He also revealed that he became the happy little homemaker.
    “I was vacuuming, cleaning up. I wasn’t washing no dishes. That’s where I draw the line,”
