Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot multiple times, including once in the head, and a pistol was discovered near the body of the 20-year-old woman found dead with him Saturday in a downtown condominium. Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, whom he called a “friend” of McNair’s. She had a single gunshot wound to the head. Police said the 36-year-old McNair was found on the sofa in the living room, and Kazemi was very close to him on the floor. Aaron said the gun was not “readily apparent” when police first arrived. Autopsies were planned for Sunday. Aaron said McNair’s wife, Mechelle, is “very distraught.” “At this juncture, we do not believe she is involved,” he said. “Nothing has been ruled out, but as far as actively looking for a suspect tonight, the answer would be no.” For More click

Tuesday the Coast Guard stopped searching for two NFL players and a third man lost off the Florida coast. Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper, free-agent defensive lineman Corey Smith, who played with the Detroit Lions last season, and former South Florida player William Bleakley, had been missing since Saturday when their boat capsized during a fishing trip. Bleakley’s father said he thought the Coast Guard did everything it could and that his expectations lowered after only one survivor was found Monday, nearly two days after the four friends were knocked out of their 21-foot boat.

Chris Mims, was a NFL first round draft pick of the San Diego Chargers, was found dead yesterday October 15 morning in his apartment. He was only 38 and police don’t know the exact cause of death yet. Mims spent 8 seasons in the NFL.

NFL wide receiver Dennis Northcutt is being accused of putting out a barbaric hit on his pregnant girlfriend. A lawsuit has been filed by Sharri Henry, claiming the Jacksonville Jaguars star plotted to brutally attack her.
In the lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Henry alleges battery and conspiracy to commit assault, and is seeking unspecified damages.
The plaintaiff alleges last May, when she was four months pregnant, Northcutt got his cousin to “maliciously assault, beat, strike and batter her in the face and head with great force and violence; causing severe and permanent disfugrement to her face,” reports TMZ.com.
Sources have confirmed that Henry did file a report with the LAPD regarding the incident that allegedly took place outside the Falcon Club in Hollywood on May 17. To read more go to the

Cops found Oakland Raider Javon Walker unconscious in Las Vegas Monday morning.
FOX5 Las Vegas reports the wide receiver was found around 7:00 AM with an orbital fracture — basically a busted eye socket. He was taken to a local hospital where he’s in fair condition. No further details about the incident or Walker were released. There were reports that he partied at Tryst nightclub at the Wynn Hotel Saturday night, spraying the crowd with multiple bottles of champagne.
