I just told y’all yesterday that these rumors were ridiculous and now Beyonce stepped up to confirm my statements.
Here’s what she had to say:
“I wanted to address my fans about my upcoming album.

I have worked on this album for close to one year. I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life. I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby. It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child when I was 15 years old.

I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid and my music will explain it all. There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me and I am so excited to share it with the world on November 18.”

Beyonce didn’t make her deadline is the dumbest story line of the day

The story floating around is that Beyonce’s album was supposed to be turned in by yesterday in order to come out on November 18. It wasn’t and now her album won’t be coming out. Beyonce is a superstar, she is the label, the schedule is based around her. She owns the 4th quarter. For anyone to act like she missed a deadline and her album isn’t coming out is the most foolish sh!t ever. If she said her album was ready on November 1 and wanted it out on November 18 guess what……It would be. When your the type of artist that she is there is no budget you can’t have, there is no request that won’t be granted and when she’s finished ….her album will get put out. You never hear the label saying Beyonce’s album is pushed back, she needs to work with this producer or other producers because she doesn’t have the right song. What you do hear is that she has two singles, two huge singles being dropped at the same time. Beyonce do your thing, you always do!

On November 18, Beyonce Knowles will release her new album. The album isn’t titled yet but Columbia Records confirmed its release date. Beyonce co-wrote and co-produced all the records on the album and Columbia says its the “most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date.” Two singles will be released to radio on October 7 titled “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies.”

Ashanti talks to OK! about her album, projects and Nelly. She tells OK how much she loves Nelly and wants to have his babies. Just Playing, read her real statement.
“He showed me things in studio about trying different things. And he’s hilarious. One thing, he does stay all night. He’s there into the wee, wee hours. He’s a night owl. The longest session I can remember is when we went into the studio around 8 or 9, and left around 2 in the afternoon the next day. It gets long.”
What’s so great about him?
“He’s a great person,” she tells me. “He has a big heart, and again, he has himself together. I learned a lot from him. And he’s a good person.”
She cackles when asked what they like to do together in their free time, but she does clear up the rumors.
“I don’t have any kids, I’m not pregnant, I’m not married,” she says.
Ashanti also dismissed a lot of rumors that have been circulating about her. I love it, clean it up your albums on the line, talk, talk. She’s does not have any Chinese or Asian roots. She has a clothing line called Delicious Curves and does not own a clothing store called Princess.

The show titled, “The Single: Monica” will focus on her path to what she expects to be a hit on her new CD, “Lessons Learned.” It will debut on Peachtree TV in August.
“I really think this is going to be fun,” said Monica. “My main thing I hope to accomplish with this is, well, you know, I didn’t do things in my life in the order people may have felt I should have. But ultimately, I’ve found my balance. “I hope this show shows that.”
“It’s going to be a ride, I can tell you that. I’ll probably have a moment or two on there, but I’m more than comfortable with me. I’ve never really been secretive about my life and what I’ve gone through…So you know, people will see that I live the same type of life of many women with children. I don’t hire a car service when the kids need to go somewhere. There’s no nanny, no chef over here. I take care of home, and then might have to spend 14 hours in the studio. And people will see that.” I like Monica so this will be one I’ll watch.

DJ Chuck T was on fire and apparently real sensitive about Lil Wayne’s diss to DJ’s. He wrote, “Lil’ Wayne said f*ck mixtape DJ’s…so now i’m about to show that boy the meaning of bootleg. I’ll be damned if I let [anyone] get away with saying f*ck me without him facing some type of repercussions, including Lil’ Wayne.”
Then he proceeded to provide Lil Waynes album for FREE via the internet.
He continues:”I see the b*tchassness of a lot of mixtape DJs right now,” Chuck said. “DJs love to talk sh*t about each other and bash each other for no reason, but are scared as hell to stand up for themselves when someone talks sh*t about the group as a collective. I figure I’ll do what I’ve been doing since day one and [stand] on my own.”
“I gave [Wayne] a pass when he kissed another man because that sh*t didn’t affect me,” he continued. “He’s not sliding on this one. Don’t buy the new Lil’ Wayne album. Download it for free!”
You know he later issued an (business) apology, what happened to your stand? “I would sincerely like to apologize to all my friends and business associates at Universal and Cash Money Records for any problems this may cause,” he explained. “If you never want to deal with me again then I totally understand. Again I say leave the man alone. Everyone makes their own decisions in life. If there good ones or bad ones they have to live with them. Why does everyone take Usher’s decisions so personally?

‘My mother made a decision not to come to my wedding because she didn’t really agree with my decision,” he explains, declining to specify whether she disagreed with his choice of wife or his decision to fire her. ”I don’t know why,” he offers simply. ”She’s never told me and I’ve never asked her.” Though he demurs when pressed further for details, he reveals: ”It hurt me very much not to see her there ’cause I would’ve liked for her to be there, not to mention that I paid so much money for her to be accommodated and her behind didn’t show up. [Laughs] But just as she’s made stands, so have I.” (That may help explain the title of his new album, though he insists, ”It’s not me lashing out at anyone; it was the hottest name for the project, and a testimony to how certain I was about certain issues.”)

How did Usher and his mother move on and heal their relationship?

On Nov. 26, Usher and Tameka welcomed their son, Usher Raymond V. The new addition to his family served as an olive branch, helping heal the strained relationship with Usher’s mom. ”I have a beautiful baby boy that she’s in love with,” he says. ”She’s very happy, and he makes us all a better family, period.” It’s likely that the sudden death of Usher’s estranged father, who died of liver disease on Jan. 21, brought the family closer together still. ”That made me care more about being a father than anything,” he says. ”It’s my opportunity to make sure that [my son] never feels what I felt.” Check out the new issue of Entertainment Weekly

50 Cent to follow Jay’s lead…….smart, rich, crazy!

50 Cent is still in his deal with Interscope, but he’s always looking to make that money. According to the New York Post, the G-Unit boss wants to follow in the steps of fellow mogul Jay-Z, who recently struck a $150 million partnership with Live Nation. It has been reported that he might be in talks with NewsCorp and MySpace records to do just that but first he has two submit 2 more albums to Interscope.
He has that plan laid out. First it will be ‘Terminate on Sight’ by G-Unit on July 1. That’s the Same Day Nas’ Untitled album is set to drop. Sources close to 50 say he wants that second album, a solo project, out by fourth quarter, so he can wrap up his Interscope ties by the end of the year. 50 has been plotting this move for quite some while. He knew he’d soon be a free agent and he kept throwing it out there how big he wanted his next deal to be or else he’d be leaving Interscope. I wonder if they care? They made their money.
Interscope still has big cash potential left with the next two albums and we hear they have a first refusal option which means they don’t have to let him go to easily.

Nas changes the title of his album ….

Nas has been stirring up controversy for months by saying that his album would be titled “Nigger.” He recently talked about all the pressure he’d been getting about the title but also expressed his desire and intent to keep the title “Nigger.” Well that has all changed, he has announced that the title will now just simply be “Nas.” I’m kinda glad because it would have caused way to much controversy and he wants the album to get the correct marketing and promotion. So much respect to you nigga! I aint trying to sell nothing. LOL, just kidding around.

Foxy’s album “Brooklyn’s Don Diva” is finally out in stores. Foxy just released this statement:
“‘Unfortunately, during my incarceration, this CD was compiled without my approval. I heard this CD in its entirety, for the first time, just says ago and was devastated.
In another phase of my life and career, I would have dealt with this situation with litigation, but for the benefit of my fans and in the wake of the profound spiritual cleansing I recently underwent in prison, I made the decision to settle our creative differences amicably.’
She is promising to ‘deliver the biggest street album in female rap history.’”
TRANSLATION: MY RECORD SALES ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD RIGHT NOW,I WAS LOCKED UP FOR 8 MONTHS, I NEEDED A CHECK. WHEN I GOT OUT OF JAIL I PLUGGED THE ALBUM EVERY CHANCE I GOT. I ALSO SAID THAT IT WAS ALL RECORDED BEFORE I WENT TO JAIL SO THERE REALLY WASN’T ANYTHING ON THERE I HAVENT HEARD BECAUSE AFTER ALL I’M THE ONE WHO RECORDED IT. I HAVE TO HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR WHY IT’S GARBAGE SO WHY NOT BLAME IT ON ME BEING WISER CAUSE I DON’T WANT TO GO TO JAIL AGAIN, CAUSE YALL KNOW ME, I WOULD’VE HURT SOMEBODY…. BUT INSTEAD I’M JUST GOING TO PUT OUT ANOTHER ALBUM AND SEE IF I CAN MAKE SOMETHING, SOMEBODY LIKES. I’m gone keep trying yall. Sincerely, the real thoughts of Foxy Brown

Ne-Yo’s album release date has been pushed back.
“Year Of The Gentleman” was supposed to drop on June 23, but it has now been pushed back to August 5. The label pushed the album back because Neyo’s lead single, “Closer” was getting poor reception.

Did they tell her to look like that or is that her post jail attitude? I can’t wait to see if there’s going to be a change in her. After she was released, she went straight to Harlem for shopping and food. She rapped in the camera, of course about jail and people not being able to stop her, didn’t look like she was humble or a new woman but what do I know, time will tell and with Foxy that’ll be a short amount of time!

“This record is going to be very different from my previous record ‘Back To Basics.’ I’m working with a lot of different people so it’s a little hard for me to really go for a specific theme this time around, but I can assure you that it’s going to be a very very interesting record. Am I nervous? Of course but I’m also very excited. I never like to play it safe so it’s always a little risky to release a record that doesn’t sound like everything else out there. I mean, I love Timbaland’s music for example but I would never work with people like that because everyone else is doing it already.”
It sounds harsh but I feel her, you get sick of hearing the same sh.. all the time. People in music aren’t creative their copycats and with the release of “Back To Basics” you can tell she clearly sets her own trends.
