Mariah Carey has sung I Want To Know What Love Is over and I’m sure it’ll be a hit for her.

Nick Cannon and his wife Mariah Carey are doing the rounds. She’s shooting video’s and on a promo tour. The happy couple were spotted outside the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City on Monday night (November 9). Mariah’s appearance is scheduled to air on Friday (November 13).

Mariah Carey admitted to suffering emotional and mental abuse during a revealing “Larry King Live” interview airing on Wednesday. In the CNN clip, Carey candidly discloses her past experience with abuse after King questions her about Rihanna and Chris Brown’s troubled relationship.

“Abuse has several different categories . . . emotionally, mentally, in other ways,” she says. “It’s scary. You know, I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in, if your situation is similar to one of the situations that I’ve been in, which I won’t harp on.”

When she first learned about Rihanna’s assault, she was in disbelief.

Mariah Carey is still being asked about her issues with rap star Eminem, which revved up last summer as both artists recorded songs that but the other on blast. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest for his LA radio show, Carey never mentions Slim Shady’s name, but made it clear that her new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” is not full of songs that bash Eminem – and this includes the set’s first single, “Obsessed.”

“If I write a song, called ‘Why Are You So Upset With Me,’ and people are seeing that person in the song, that’s not my problem,” she told Seacrest.

“Eight years ago, maybe I knew that person, kind of, in a very platonic way and yet they’re still using my name in songs in order to boost their career, which I don’t think is working,” she continued. “It’s just obsession. … Anybody who would write a song about somebody and try to say nasty, disgusting things about them eight years later, when they’re married, I’m like, I don’t think so.” source

Mariah Carey went on the Today Show Tuesday morning, the day her album dropped. She will be back on Friday doing a concert.
