Ryan Seacrest interviewed Mariah Carey at the Golden Globes and she’s still explaining her tipsy speech while steadily plugging her new champagne.

“When you win something, you celebrate,” she said. “All I had were two glasses (of Champagne)! It was not that bad.” She did admit: “If I could go back, would I have one glass instead of two? Yes.”

She continued. “I didn’t realize they put the Champagne on the table so you wouldn’t drink it.” And then she plugged her own bubbly. “I have my own Champagne – Angel Rose. Go out and get it. It’s very, very good.”

I love that Nick Cannon has no problem with his husbandly roles out in public. Nick is a high powered executive in the entertainment world (don’t let the jokes fool you) and he can put that aside and manage to be a good husband  despite the flack he gets. People make fun of him for carrying Mariah’s purse and holding umbrella’s but isn’t that what a good husband is supposed to be for especially if he has a high profile wife whose being interviewed in the rain? We’d talk about Nick like a dog if Mariah was being interviewed and he just stood there letting somebody else hold her umbrella or making her manage alone. We should think about the things we ridicule people for sometimes.
