Ex-NFL player, Chargers linebacker Steve Foley has settled his lawsuit against a police officer who shot him two years ago. The attack by this off duty cop ended Foley’s football career. Harvey Levine, Foley’s attorney said the financial terms weren’t disclosed under a confidentiality agreement. He also said that he believed both sides were pleased with the outcome. Foley has moved to Houston where he’s taking care of his 11 year old daughter and planning to complete his degree.

Wendy Williams’ husband Kevin Hunter plotted to kill Hot 97’s Miss Jones, real name Tarsha Jones,for running her mouth on air. These charges are included in Nicole Spence’s federal lawsuit charges against the couple. The allegations say that Hunter tried to get a male WBLS employee for help him find a hit man to get rid of ole loud mouth Miss Jones. He did this just because he was angry about the statements Tarsha made about his wife on air, the lawsuit filed in Manhattan Federal Court claims. He’s a lame.

Sean Levert’s widow has filed suit against jail officials for failing to look after his medical condition while he was in their custody. Levert died on March 30th it was ruled recently that he died of natural causes. At the time of his death Levert was being restrained in his prison cell.

Rappers Kanye West, Method Man, Redman, Common and their record companies have been sued this week by late U.S. jazz musician Joe Farrell’s daughter. She has accused them of using her father’s music without approval.
The lawsuit, filed by Kathleen Firrantello in the U.S. District Court in New York, names the rappers along with various labels owned by Universal Music Group.
The lawsuit said all the rappers used portions of Farrell’s 1974 musical composition “Upon This Rock” in three separate songs Kanye West in “Gone,” Common in “Chi-City” and Method Man and Redman in their song “Run 4 Cover.”
Kathleen Firrantello is seeking punitive damages of at least $1 million and asked that no further copies of the songs be made, sold or performed, according to the lawsuit. He care so much about his craft. “I make art. You can’t rate this. I’m a real person. I’m not a pop star. I don’t care about anything but making great art.” Don’t steal it then.

Ashley Dupré, Spitzer’s call girl filed a lawsuit Monday against Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis and his film company.
The lawsuit seeks more than $10 million in damages. In legal documents, Dupré claims that Girls Gone Wild representatives approached her while she was vacationing in Florida in 2003. The representatives offered her alcohol, the suit alleges, before inducing her to expose her breasts for cameras and to sign a release form – even though she was 17 years old and not of legal age to properly enter into any contract. Sounds just like his other cases he got in trouble for doesn’t it???? She can’t even be original but she still has a chance.

The suit claims, Francis and his company illegally exploited Dupré’s name, picture, voice and likeness in a number of deceptive advertising campaigns and on Web sites.
