Kobe Bryant covers the March issue of GQ magazine.
Here are some excerpts from Kobe’s interview:
Kobe on being surrounded by the best of the best athletes at the Olympics: “I felt like Harry Potter going to Hogwarts.”
Kobe on his relationship with Shaq: “The biggest mistake I made was responding to what he was saying about me. Once I responded, now that made it seem like I was part of that whole thing. It’s like, Okay, these two are against each other. As opposed to just staying quiet, which is what I’ve been doing the last few years. Let him say what he needs to say.”
Kobe on how his win-at-all-costs mindset doesn’t carry over to the rest of his life: “What people see on court is another side of me; it’s not me. That dark side that’s coming to get you – ha ha! I’m not losing this f*cking game – that’s not who I am. That’s part of me. Off the court, I’m completely different.”

Lil Wayne gets the cover of Rolling Stones magazine right before he has to enter prison.
For a decade, Lil Wayne has been hip-hop’s great unstoppable force, a 24-hour-a-day recording machine without an off button. But on February 9th, Lil Wayne will have to stop — for 12 months, when he reports to prison to serve a sentence for gun possession stemming from a 2007 arrest in New York City. Rolling Stone stays up all night with Weezy as he prepares to get locked down in our new issue, which is on sale at newsstands today.
“I don’t like to stop,” Wayne tells RS‘ Chris Norris. “I believe you stop when you die.” So in the weeks before he reports to Rikers Island, Wayne is keeping busy — recording tracks bound for Tha Carter IV (the album Cash Money staffers call “C4″ because it’ll be the bomb), shooting videos with his Young Money protégés, spending time with his growing family, and deliberately not asking anyone for advice about life on the inside. “This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he says. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.”
While Weezy’s away, his label is relocating to New York to be near him, and his manager Cortez Bryant is exploring ways to keep Wayne in his fans’ minds for the duration — from jailhouse Twitter accounts to endorsements. “I’ll have an iPod, and I”ll make sure they keep sending me beats,” Lil Wayne says. Tha Carter IV — which Norris is told features tougher, faster beats — is scheduled to arrive shortly after he gets out. source

Kobe, Vanessa and their two daughters are taking some vacation time in Paris. They are in Paris but still being hounded by paparazzi. Good thing they have some huge, no nonsense security guards.

Kobe Bryant enjoyed the Laker’s parade with his wife, Vanessa and their two daughters.
Heres another picture of them at the Laker’s party.

Well Kobe and the Lakers did it.

Kobe Bryant lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 99 – 86 victory over the Orlando Magic, 4 games to 1. Congrats! Kobe said he feels like he finally got that monkey off his back, winning without Shaq.

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant are being sued by their former maid, Maria Jimenez. Jimenez says Vanessa Bryant was horribly abusive to her. Kobe and Vanessa have filed a counter suit claiming that the maid signed a confidentiality agreement therefor she shouldn’t be doing press interviews etc in regards to the lawsuit. In other words, sue us in court but don’t talk about us in public. They are scheduled to appear back in court in July.
