Jurors began deliberating Thursday afternoon and did so until about 6 p.m. Jurors were told to return first thing Friday morning and was immediately sequestered. R. Sylvester Kelly pleaded not guilty and did not testify during the trial. I guess he’ll speak, apologize, cry after he gets sentenced.

His real name is just as foolish as this picture. His birth name is Robert Sylvester Kelly. Ugghhhhh! R. Kelly it is.

R. Kelly, the same man who expresses all of his nasty thoughts and fantasies about sex and women in his music, didn’t want to express any of those sentiments in court. He told the judge that he didn’t want to testify in his case. That’s his right under the law and I didn’t expect anything different from ole dirty butt. The defense has rested their case and prosecutors will be calling two rebuttal witnesses. Closing arguments are coming Thursday and the judge ruled that jurors can view the sex tape during deliberations. Not a good look for R. Kelly because all y’all nasty people that watched the tape said it was definitely him.

The prosecutions star witness Lisa Van Allen says that R. Kelly’s accountant paid her and a Kansas man $20,000 each to return a videotape of Kelly participating in a threesome with her and the alleged victim. She received the payment in March 2007. She was offered $250,000 but only $40k was paid by Robert Kelly’s business manager Derrel McDavid.
The Sun-Times broke the story about the pay off and Kelly’s attorney paid Lisa Van Allen a visit. Under questioning from Adam Sr.(Kelly’s lawyer), Van Allen repeatedly denied that Brown had tried to extort cash from Adam Jr. at that meeting.
She also denied that Brown had boasted that he and Van Allen had been offered a $300,000 book deal. THE STATE RESTED IT’S CASE AND THE DEFENSE WILL START ON WEDNESDAY!!!!

Lisa Van Allen has just delivered one hell of a blow to R. Kelly’s defense. She testified “we had three-way sex on R. Kelly’s basketball court.”
Van Allen said she had met R. Kelly at the video shoot for “Home Alone,” in which she appeared, in late 1997 or early 1998 at the age of 17. Kelly’s cousin, “Blacky” invited her back to Kelly’s trailer where they talked and then had sex.
The two exchanged numbers and Van Allen soon started going back and forth to Chicago where she would eventually move. She stayed in hotels and spent most of her time in the studio with him. Van Allen said she went on tour with Kelly and was picked out of the crowd at the end of each show to perform simulated sex with him on stage at each show’s finale.
The first time:Van Allen testified that in late 1998 Kelly took her to his former home on the North Side of Chicago, where she met the alleged victim in this case for the first time. Kelly taped them while they had three-way sex in his “log-cabin” room, she said. That’s the same room he’s alleged to have filmed the tape in this case. Kelly told her the alleged victim was 16, she said.
The second time followed an awards ceremony in Chicago. Van Allen, Kelly and the alleged victim in this case again had videotaped three-way sex. This time they had sex on Kelly’s basketball court.
“He took up his camera and we took off our clothes and we all had sex again,” she said. Van Allen said Kelly stopped the sex session after she broke down crying. “I didn’t want to do it,” she said.
The third time in 2000, Kelly, Van Allen and the alleged victim had sex again in his trailer at the video shoot for “Woman’s Threat,” Van Allen said. Kelly and the alleged victim ran naked to hide after somebody knocked on the door and disturbed them, she said. Van Allen said Kelly carried a “duffel bag” with his home-made porn it wherever he went.
“He carried it everywhere,” she said. “If we was at the studio, it was in the studio with him; if he was at Hoops (his gym) it would be at Hoops with him…the bag would follow him.”
Van Allen confessed she had stolen R. Kelly’s Rolex watch from a Georgia hotel in 2001. She said she had been granted state and federal immunity from prosecution for child porn in return for her testimony.

Damn, damn, damn!!!!

Grant Fredericks took the court through the sex tape, frame by frame and Robert Kelly looked real worried. He slowly took them through the tape to prove how and why it was genuine and not fabricated. More damaging to the defense was that Fredericks took the images of the man on the tape and the room featured on the tape and matched them to Kelly and his former home.
The defense pretty much took the Johnny Cochran playbook and said if you don’t see the mole on the mans back then it’s not R. Kelly. Who cares if it’s his house, if it looks like him, you don’t see the mole its not him! Well…………when the expert slowed the tape down and freeze framed it, what did you see? You guessed it, THE MOLE. Fredericks showed and had this to say about the spot on the male’s back “it’s in the exact same position, at about the same size,” while pointing to a video display. The tape was not manipulated at all. “It’s simply not possible,” says the expert witness. So there goes the theory that somebody put R. Kelly’s body in a tape with somebody else and he wasn’t really there. “We don’t have the technology yet to fabricate the errors and the facial features and the motion and the light in this way, not like this.” The defense tried to get the two expert witness to say their was a possibility, leaving some reasonable doubt but they didn’t waver, they said the tape was original, it had been copied but not altered in any way. They compared the room, the wood the knots in the wood, to the way the room is now and said the location on the tape is R. Kelly’s house without a doubt.
