    South Park” may have accomplished the impossible: getting Kanye West to check his ego. The Comedy Central show skewered the famously self-important rapper on its show Wednesday night, painting him as a narcissistic figure so out of touch with reality he couldn’t even take a (very politically incorrect) joke. West’s love of himself and his work has been almost as integral to his image as his music: Just last year, he told The Associated Press that he was the “voice of this generation.” Also recently, he was quoted as saying his greatest regret was not being able to see himself perform live.

    Yet, on his blog Thursday, West appeared chastened, and ready to turn over a new leaf.

    In typical all-caps mode, he wrote: “SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER.”

    West said that he started stroking his ego long ago to build up his self esteem, but he now realizes he needs to “GET PAST MYSELF.”

    In the self-reflective post, he said that people won’t take him seriously if he keeps it up (perhaps referring to his well-documented meltdowns at awards shows when he didn’t win what he expected).

    “I JUST WANT TO BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM,” he said.

    And perhaps to show that he’s really serious about making that change, he provided a link to one of the most biting moments from the “South Park” show, and thanked the writers as well.

Specifically, when Kanye was rumored to have gotten upset because Jones and his Dipset brother Juelz Santana closed out the annual Summer Jam concert earlier this year.
    While Jones, at the time, called West out for throwing tantrums, he says it’s was just jokes, and there is no serious issue with the producer. In fact, he says he needs a beat.

    Kanye?! I like making jokes about him,” Jones responded when asked if he’d ever go at the Chicago superstar. But, Kanye is somebody you can just punch his chest, old-school style, cave his chest in and sh** like that. Like don’t ever, ever, ever talk about me again in your life! It’s just a joke to me. I’m just having fun. I heard him ranting and raving about my name and sh**. How would I look having an issue with Kanye?
    “I’d love to work with him. I need a beat from him. I think that’s why I’m most mad. Matter fact, I’ma f*** you up if you don’t give me a beat,” Jones said while laughing.

    Kanye is setting the record straight because he’s quite frankly tired of all the lies spread about him. I personally have never wrote anything about his girl being pregnant or even their relationship. What I do write about is his arrogance, high strung, catch a temper in a hot minute bitchy ways. Anyway, heres what he said:
    “Do yall remember when people said my fiance was pregnant???? What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about???? I’m just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I’m going to anger management something or ‘nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah… SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can’t make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don’t know if everyone has realized this yet but I don’t do interviews if there’s anything I wanna say I’ll say right here on my own blog”

    Rappers Kanye West, Method Man, Redman, Common and their record companies have been sued this week by late U.S. jazz musician Joe Farrell’s daughter. She has accused them of using her father’s music without approval.
    The lawsuit, filed by Kathleen Firrantello in the U.S. District Court in New York, names the rappers along with various labels owned by Universal Music Group.
    The lawsuit said all the rappers used portions of Farrell’s 1974 musical composition “Upon This Rock” in three separate songs Kanye West in “Gone,” Common in “Chi-City” and Method Man and Redman in their song “Run 4 Cover.”
    Kathleen Firrantello is seeking punitive damages of at least $1 million and asked that no further copies of the songs be made, sold or performed, according to the lawsuit. He care so much about his craft. “I make art. You can’t rate this. I’m a real person. I’m not a pop star. I don’t care about anything but making great art.” Don’t steal it then.

    For years critics have been saying that Kanye West lives in his own world. It seems he is proving them correct according to a couple of his latest reviews.
    At Tuesday night’s Madison Square Garden show on his national “Glow in the Dark” tour, West rapped and roamed around an otherwise empty stage, assuring that the focuse of all in attendance would be solely on himself.Here is a brief summary of the review thats gonna make Kanye hurt somebody or blow his top.
    1. He has an extremely big ego that makes him want all the focus on him during the whole 90 minutes that he performs on stage. He may have fans that want that but there’s nothing wrong with adding a little excitement and sharing the limelight. It’s boring to know that you are the only person that’ll be in the same spot for 90 minutes.
    2. Kanye is not allowing the press to take photo’s that’s why you haven’t seen any exciting, in action pictures of the show.
    3.He treats his band like their beneath him and appears static and sometimes lonely.
    4. Descriptive words for his show are bizarre presentation, remote, static, dark lighting, heavy use of fog and fans see little more than a shadowy blur, repetitive videos of explosions to simulate drama.
    Advice from this review – Next time West may want to take a cue from one of his three opening acts – Lupe Fiasco – who came out all the stronger for letting two singers sometimes upstage him. A little humility goes a long way. Sure Kanye will be responding soon.
