Just when you thought skinny jeans couldn’t get any skinnier, the marketing geniuses at Topshop introduce a new term into our fashion vocabulary: Jeggings. (Or Treggings, to you Brits.) The brand’s jean + legging hybrid is knit from cotton, polyester, and spandex, for that suck-it-in, painted-on look without the loss of circulation in your lower half. The Topshop site helpfully suggests that you pair these with an animal-print tunic (tunimal?). source

On the heels of the Thom Browne skirt suit discovery, we’ve spotted another wardrobe oddity on sale online. It is a “Tube Spant” from avant-garde label Y-3, and it’s discounted to $276 on Oaknyc.com. The spant is not a pant, and not a skirt—instead, it is a “double layer perforated wool jersey gauze asymmetrical culotte with one extra oversized and draped pant and one smaller [with an] internally attached legging with a drawstring closure.” Of course. source

T.I.’s new “Swing Ya Rag” video has been shot but won’t ever be shown on BET or MTV.
The video was shot many weeks ago, but Gucci and Louis Vuitton didn’t want their products in the video. What a smack in the face.
I thought it was stupid from moment one for T.I. to do a song promoting brands that he has no stock or interest in. I think its stupid for any of these artist in this day and age to promote these huge, high priced items that most of their supporter’s can’t afford or pronounce. Sean “Diddy” Combs added another asset to his expanding clothing empire today (October 21), with the purchase of fashion brand Enyce from Liz Claiborne, Inc.
Combs detailed his plans to expand Enyce’s popularity through the cutting-edge marketing that’s made his various brands a success.

“I remember when Enyce was sold back in 2003 for $114 million. “I was always a fan of the brand from when [founders] Evan Davis, Lando Felix, and Tony Shellman owned it. About a year ago I heard that Liz Claiborne was considering selling it because it wasn’t a good fit for their portfolio. I knew it would be a great opportunity so we began negotiations which took about six months.”

Catherine Malandrino is a wonderful designer. I think I discovered her at Neiman Marcus about five years ago at Garden State Mall or either Saks at Riverside Mall. Either way she’s great at what she does.

Hair check, dress check, shoes WRONG! How did she mess up at the feet, everything was going just fine and then she pulls out some green, open toed, moccasin style suede boots…….I don’t think so.

AND ABOVE ALL THE BOOTS ARE GREEN!!!
