NBA superstar Dwight Howard claims his baby mama, Royce Lyndsay Reed is bashing him all over the internet and now he’s filed a lawsuit to keep her keyboard in check. He already has an order against her that seals her lips completely. According to the documents filed in Orange County, CA, the Orlando Magic center is suing Royce Lyndsay Reed — the mother of his 2-year-old son — over allegedly defamatory comments that surfaced on a gossip site.
Dwight claims Reed posted the comments — whether “directly or indirectly” under an Internet alias — in violation of an injunction he recently filed against her, which orders Reed not to open her mouth, perioed about the NBA star.
But in the lawsuit, Dwight includes a few samples of the comments he’s talking about:
– “[Dwight] hasn’t seen his son in two months.”
– “Why file an injunction if you have nothing to hide?”
– “But the bottom line is Dwight is a douchebag.”
According to Reed’s lawyer, Dwight’s baby mama is “flabbergasted” by the lawsuit, claiming she has nothing to do with the comments and considered the matter resolved after the injunction. Dwight wants $9,205,000 in damages. source
Dwight Howard has been dealing with a disgruntled ex who happens to be the mother of his 2 year old child. Royce Lyndsay Reed was talking about Howard whenever she had the chance. She would take to Twitter, ESPN interviews and her blog calling him a deadbeat and she was supposed to be a part of a new reality show about NBA wives. That won’t be happening anymore. You won’t hear a peep out of her because a judge has officially sealed her lips. She can’t even utter Howard’s name! In Dwight Howards court papers he alleged that Royce ”is attempting to become a celebrity” from being his baby mama … even agreeing to “participate in a VH1 television show called ‘NBA Wives.’”
