Diddy turned 40 and held a celebrity birthday bash last night in New York City.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has a new image and a new sound. It’s nothing to do with bling and everything to do with black. He shows off his latest persona in the current issue of VMAN Magazine, on newsstands today.

Some quotes from the rapper, producer, mogul and fashion designer previously/otherwise known as Diddy:

Diddy on a shift in black culture: “It’s almost like black lifestyle represents the new America. We’re the Obama generation and it’s not all about where we are at and where we are from, but also, where we can go.”

Diddy and Jay-Z are both around about the same age. These two moguls have a lot in common. They are both bosses, moguls, filthy rich and both are 40 years old— well Jay is about to be. How can these young, wack rapper’s continue dissing them about their age when they are clearly at the top of their game? Nothing but hate! The young rapper’s should probably focus on making a second hit…lol

Diddy is on vacation at at the exclusive Hotel Fassano in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I guess he really gets loose when he’s out of the country. Them boys are short and y’all know he has a big ole booty…lol
Mariah Carey, Ciara and Grace Jones are there as well.

Chris Brown is busy working and filming scenes for his new video Crawl. Cassie is also in the video as his leading lady. Well Chris Brown has Diddy and Rihanna has Jay-Z. Both have two heavyweights on their sides. Their in good hands, good look!

Look at the hypocrisy here. Diddy throws money out to the crowd at 106 & Park, you know with the “money don’t mean nothing to me” attitude, even though he doesn’t throw it to his artist like that but I digress. Okay, so as he was throwing the money, some fake and some real, into the crowd he loses a $20,000 ring. He acts cool until the show was over. The security came out and searched (probably illegally) all of the audience hoping to find the ring, which they didn’t. Those kids are from the hood fool!
