Bristol Palin is fighting to get a big child support check. Sarah Palin’s 19-year-old daughter has subpoenaed various media outlets to find out just how much they paid her baby daddy, Levi Johnston. Prior to 2009, in which he made approximately $100,000, Johnston reportedly claims to have made no more than $10,000 a year. With such a low income, Johnston says he should not have to pay the $1,688.42 a month in child support that Palin is demanding to care for their 1-year-old son, Tripp. But Palin doubts her former beau’s claims of poverty. They have reportedly issued subpoenas to CNN, Playgirl, “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Insider,” Star magazine, and National Enquirer, asking for details on how much money they have paid 19-year-old Johnston.
Married lawyer and CNN senior analyst, Jeffrey Toobin’s big hush hush scandal went public on Wednesday. Toobin squared off with a woman who says he’s the father of her baby. She’s not just any old woman either. Casey Greenfield, a Yale educated lawyer and the daughter of eminent CBS News analyst Jeff Greenfield – had a chilly faceoff in Manhattan Family Court.
The ex-lovers barely spoke in the waiting area before joining their lawyers behind closed doors with a court referee to hash out custody and money issues. Toobin, who glumly sat several rows away from Casey Greenfield before the hearing, is said to have privately admitted to fathering the child, believed to have been born last summer, sources said.
A friend of Greenfield’s said the outspoken Toobin has resisted putting his name on the infant’s birth certificate and hasn’t given his former lover the child support she’s requested.
Greenfield has responded by refusing to let Toobin see the baby, the source said. Typical hoodrat ish in high society. The ex-lovers and their lawyers declined all comment.
“Respectfully, I have nothing to say,” said Toobin.
Greenfield and Toobin appeared to be doing their best to avoid eye contact before the hearing, which was closed to the media. He had his nose buried in a newspaper.
