Scott Storch has been charged with grand theft auto. The extravagant producer who has made hits for everybody was allegedly leasing a Bentley that he never returned after the expiration date. It took the leasing company 7 months to find the automobile. Storch pled not guilty in Broward County Court last Friday.
Storch’s lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, just released this statement: “We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge. There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client.”
It’s been said that Scotty has some substance abuse problems but those allegations haven’t been proved.
El DeBarge (Patrick Eldra DeBarge) has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
DeBarge was arrested in L.A. earlier this month for two outstanding warrants.
He is being held without bail and is due back in court tomorrow.
24 year old rapper Lil Scrappy born Darryl Richardson was involved in a violent incident last night in Dekalb County that landed him in jail. He was stabbed and later arrested. It appears he was trying to defend/help his sister, who was being assaulted by a boyfriend of hers. As a result, Scrappy was stabbed but not in any sort of life threatening danger. The police arrived on the scene found $8 thousand, a gun and 2 pounds of weed in Scrappy’s possession. He is being charged with 2 felonies, marijuana possession and firearm possession along with 2 misdemeanors for obstruction and battery. Lil Scrappy is currently still in custody. He has a bail of $1500 for the misdemeanors but none has been set for the felony counts as of yet. Until an amount is set he will sit in the Dekalb County jail.
Juelz Santana whose legal name is Laron James, pleaded not guilty in court on March 12th. Even though the police busted him on March 4th in front of his New Jersey home with hollow point bullets, cash and weed.
