According to Reuters, 21-year-old rapper Bow Wow made the decision recently to act full time. He has joined the upcoming fifth season of HBO’s “Entourage” in a recurring role as a stand-up comic named Charlie. “After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I’ve decided to shift my energy to something else I’m passionate about, acting,” said Bow Wow. “I’m going to try to be the next Will Smith.” Right now Bow is shooting in New Orleans for a film called “Patriots,” a sports drama about a high school basketball team in post-Katrina Louisiana. The film also stars Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington.

Nick Cannon got a large tattoo of “Mariah” across his back, while Mariah got a small butterfly on her lower back that has the letters “MC” — which she said stood for “Mrs. Cannon.” On the Ellen show Ellen DeGeneres quickly pointed out that those are her initials and if the marriage didn’t work out….. well you know MC, Mariah Carey. Not NC for Nick Cannon. She aint slick but Nick the fool!
“That’s so mean, Ellen!” Mariah said.
She continued, “I never had a tattoo before, and it’s his first tattoo also — that’s why it was a big deal. I fell asleep during my tattoo. People were like, ‘What?’ I was gangsta for that, a little bit.”
Carey also said Cannon is the man she wants to raise a family with. “My parents divorced when I was 3 and I didn’t have many examples of what was the ‘norm,’ ” she said. But “I found the right person.” Blah blah blah

After playing the leading man in Mariah’s video Bye Bye, Nick and Mariah fell for each other and didn’t waste anytime moving to the next biggest step, marriage. “I don’t think anyone realized what we already knew, that we were going to get married,” Carey, 39, told People. On April 25th, 27 year old Nick proposed to Mariah on the rooftop of her Manhattan apartment with a 17-carat, pink-diamond ring wrapped up like a Ring Pop candy ring. They invited family and friends to Mariah’s estate in the Bahamas for the wedding but the guest thought they were joining the couple for a music video shoot. The only ones who had any inkling of the nuptials were those who had seen the couple’s matching back tattoos. Hers reads “Mrs. Cannon” and his “Mariah.” Da Brat was one of the guest at the ceremony. They ate live Maine lobsters and sipped Dom Pérignon champagne flown in for the beachfront ceremony.
“I haven’t been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, ‘Don’t pass out,’ ” Cannon told People about the ceremony.
