Bottom line, 50 Cent can’t sell the house. Up until now 50 boasted about how great of a deal he got on the house ($4 million) and he also boasted about putting $10 million into the house. Fif was trying to sell the mansion for $18.5 million, dropped the price to $14.5 million and as of this week it’s been removed from the market.
50 testified in court Tuesday that he never would have bought Mike Tyson’s mansion if he knew it would cost a pretty penny to fix up.

The star is suing BVH Integrated Services, the engineering firm he hired to inspect the Farmington, Conn., spread when he was buying it from the boxer’s ex-wife in 2003. The company estimated it would cost about $500,000 to repair roofs, decks, driveways and renovate other parts of the property. 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, said he ended up spending about $6 million on the job. He says BVH should cough up about $3 million. “I would not have purchased the property with $1 million worth of work to do. To be honest I would not have purchased a house with $700,000 worth of damages,” he testified. “I would have felt I was living in a construction site,” said the hip-hop hit machine, who was wearing a dark pinstriped suit and no tie. BVH attorney Michael Byrne said it didn’t overbill and that 50 Cent wanted “extravagant and costly upgrades.” The 19-bedroom property – which was featured on MTV’s “Cribs” – includes a recording studio and a nightclub that features a swing dangling from the ceiling. When the 48,000-square-foot property was up for sale in 2007, brokers said the rapper had added a helicopter pad, an infinity pool and spa with a grotto, a movie theater, and other extras.

50 Cent told MTV News that he would be releasing two albums this year.

“What they don’t know … the new announcement is that I’m dropping two albums,” Fif smiled. “I’ve had an opportunity to record since I thought I was releasing an album in December. Fif projects Before I Self Destruct will drop in June, after Eminem’s Relapse hits stores on May 19 — and 50’s second album will come one month after Em’s second album, according to the current game plan.

Fif’s attorney, Brett “Kevlar” Kimmel, released a statement on the ruling. “I just received word that 50’s motion for summary judgment has been granted. Shaniqua Tompkins’s $50,000,000 lawsuit has been dismissed, in its entirety, with prejudice. Once again, justice prevails,” the statement reads.

The ruling marks Fif’s second win against Tompkins. The mogul managed to get his monthly child support payments cut last year. Tompkins asked for $50,000 per month, but was granted $25,000. The former couple is also involved in legal drama in relation to his Long Island home being set ablaze.

So Janet Jackson is supposed to be upset with Beyonce’s remarks. Beyonce and her family has been compared to the Jackson’s a few times. Beyonce wanted to clarify that comparison. “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jacksons. “But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” Shit is true, get the hell over it! The Jackson are crazy successful and hold an incredible part in music history. This is because of their background, father and the incredible work ethics that have been instilled in them. Janet might not like the way it sounds but hell, is it true or not?

So MTV has canceled 50’s reality show. I’m sure 50’s feelings are not hurt. I think he was doing it for three reasons,
1. Because he hadn’t done one yet
2. To help get Tony Yayo a check.
3. If it was a hit, he could push that record release date back up.

50 Cent is finally opening up about the fire that destroyed his multimillion-dollar Long Island home in May. In a new interview with TV One Access correspondent Quddus, 50 Cent said his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, was ordered to leave his Long Island home just days before the blaze broke out.
“The courts told her she had to leave,” the rapper said of Tompkins. “It’s kind of more like, ‘If I can’t have you, you can’t have it.’”
“So, you figure she lit it up?” Quddus asked, referring to the house catching fire.
“Well, I don’t want to say that… don’t try to make me say something I don’t want to say,” 50 Cent replied. “But the circumstances to it might seem that way.”

50 cent decided to push his album back to early 2009. The move comes as 50 Cent was rushing to get his album finished for a December release, however it is not complete. With the deadline to secure advertising and retail placement for the album imminent, he decided to move to a date in early 2009. It will also include a DVD, of a 90-minute film, also titled Before I Self Destruct, a coming of age story about an inner city youth raised by a hardworking single mother. When his dream of becoming a basketball player fails to materialize, he finds himself employed in a supermarket. After his mother is tragically gunned down, Clarence (played by 50) is consumed by revenge and takes up a life of crime in order to support his younger brother.“Times are hard,” stated 50 Cent. “Everyone is trying to make the most of what they have. I want to give my fans something extra for their hard earned dollars. They’ll get a free bonus when they pick up the album.”

50 now gets to see his son one weekend per month. Wow, one whole weekend! He will also have visitation rights for one month during the summer and half a month on winter and spring recess breaks. They will alternate holidays.

For the second straight year Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Diddy top Forbes’ second annual “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list, but there is a new reigning king for 2008.
50 Cent usurped Jay-Z as the top earner with $150 million grossed in the last year.
The cornerstone of 50’s portfolio is his stake in VitaminWater’s
parent company Glaceau, which was brought for $4.1 billion by Coca-Cola.
The Queens native’s investments also include video games, G-Unit
clothing/records, and a pending partnership in South Africa with
billionaire mining baron Patrice Motsepe.
Jay-Z bows in at number 2 generating $82 million in earnings.

Off the strength of last year’s platinum album American Gangster, Jay
brokered a 10-year, $150 million dollar deal with concert promoter Live Nation.

The partnership will have the organization assisting Jay in promotion of
all his business endeavors, which begins after his pending last Def Jam album Blueprint 3.

Bad Boy CEO Sean “Diddy” Combs generated $35 million in revenue
behind the success of premium vodka Ciroc, the Sean John clothing line, and Bad Boy releases from Danity Kane and Day26.

The boundless entrepreneur has taken over TV, with Combs’ highly
successful reality shows in Run’s House, I Want to Work for Diddy, and Making the Band.

Rounding out the top five are producers Kanye West and Timbaland,
who’ve earned $30 and $22 million respectively.

Along with the success of their 2007 albums Graduation and Shock Value, the highly sought-after boardsmiths increased their net worth with production credits for Madonna, Bjork, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, and Diddy.

Completing the top 10 on Forbes’ “Hip Hop Cash Kings 2008” are Pharrell Williams ($20 million), Swizz Beatz ($17 million), Snoop Dogg ($16 million), Dr. Dre ($15 million), and Ludacris ($14 million).

Curtis Jackson and his lawyers filed suit against Taco Bell Wednesday (July 23) in Manhattan federal court. In it he accuses Taco Bell of “diluting the value of his good name” as well as employing a guerrilla advertising campaign to fool consumers into thinking he had endorsed the restaurant chain.
“Without seeking or obtaining Jackson’s authorization, defendant Taco Bell made him the star and focus of its nation-wide advertising campaign by using his name, persona and trademark to promote Taco Bell’s business and products.”

“When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: ‘We messed with the bull and got the horns,’” 50 said.

A government witness, who was a member of Cash Money Brothers, testified Thursday that Mike Tyson chipped in $50,000 on a contract to kill members of a Brooklyn drug gang because they murdered his bodyguard in 2000. The contract was on the leaders of Cash Money Brothers, Damion (World) Hardy and Edward (Taz) Cooke. Witness, Dwayne Meyers said Mike Tyson was close to the victim, Darryl (Homicide) Baum.
Tyson even dedicated his win over heavyweight Lou Savarese in 2000 to Baum, who was shot dead two weeks earlier. Baum was also the guy who was suspected of shooting 50 Cent nine times, 50 refers to it in his song “Many Men,” “he got hit like I got hit but he aint F’N breathin.”
The alleged contract was revealed at the trial of Abubakr Raheem, 48, a reputed associate of Hardy, who is charged with participating in two murders.

When the judge found out she said this to Shaniqua’s lawyer: “She better pay it by the end of the week. Do you understand?” They tried to argue based on the fire and all their losses. They told the judge that they lost everything in the fire. The judge didn’t take sympathy with that excuse. She demanded that $4,500 be paid by Friday. 50 Cent pays $6,700 a month in child support – which includes $4,500 to rent a new place to live.

He’s involved in a ongoing battle for child support and the rights to take his own house back. A house that he’s paying for and other grown a$$ men are living in. His ex is mad, she’s disgruntled, she’s looking for revenge, and she’s trying to use the media to get an advantage in court but she appears crazy and far reaching. She was to be booted from 50’s property by the end of the school year, that my friends is this month. The million dollar house was burned down to the ground mysteriously last week. Shaniqua would have us to believe that 50 Cent did it because he threatened her previously. Hasn’t she threatened him several times? If shes bring her current boyfriend, (who can’t pay the mortgage on the house) to a deposition thats about their kid and this boyfriend of hers (whose living in 50’s house rent free) gets in an altercation with him at a lawyers office, inside or outside court, your threatening him too aren’t you? Why would she do this you ask? It’s an attempt to find more ways to get money through lawsuits claiming injuries, intimidation, harassment, etc. Now it’s all about 50 Cent calling his son, and branding 50 as a bad father….girl bye. Why would he call so you can tape the whole thing and send it to TMZ or some other news/gossip outlet. We know they would pay you and we know your thirsty! 50’s going to call his son, the call will be intercepted by you, cursing him, not letting him speak to the child and then maybe you’ll go so far as to let the dude pick up the phone. Or you’ll be on the other line of the phone listening and then start yelling when he asks questions! I had been wondering why Hot 97’s Summer Jam lineup was so unimpressive. No Jay-Z, no Nas, no 50 Cent and G-Unit, no New York for real. Well Jay is overseas or was and

Back in 2004 he had a little riot that consisted of water bottle tossisng, chair throwing incidents between him and once right hand man, Bang ‘Em Smurf and some rivals from his neighborhood a few years back in 2004. Needless to say he no longer messes with Smurf and I haven’t heard anything from him, have you?
