Michelle Obama Covers Better Homes and Gardens

Michelle Obama covers the latest issue of Better Homes and Gardens. She happens to be the first public figure on the cover since 1963. Another moment for Mrs. Obama. The cover, which features the smiling First Lady sitting in the White House garden in a lilac-colored dress and yellow cardigan, invites readers to read about Obama’s Let’s Move campaign as well as “ideas and inspiration to help American families eat right.”
The First Lady talks about old eating habits inside the issue: “I had two little kids; I was busy… We had take-out at least three times a week. I didn’t realize that these habits were affecting my kids’ health. It was just what I felt I had to do to survive and keep the household going.”
