Rihanna’s interview with Diane Sawyer started out describing them as young, rich and successful entertainers who were each other’s first loves. She says they were best friends who fell in love. “The more in love they became the more dangerous it became because it was an obsession.”
Rihanna says it all plays back in her head, and she gets ashamed and angry all over again when she see’s the pictures. She’s embarassed and humiliated by the event. Heres how it all was supposed to start:
They were in the car, she saw a text. Chris lied about the text. Rihanna busted him in a lie, she wouldn’t drop it. He couldn’t take that she wouldn’t drop it. It escalate into Chris being violent against her. Her mouth was filled with blood.
He said things to scare her and he had no soul in his eyes…he was blank and blacked out. There was no person when she looked at him, he had no soul and it was like he had nothing to lose. When they asked Rihanna what she did, she said she didn’t hit him (that contradicts the police report). She said it was ignorance for people to think she had provoked this incident. She said even if she hit him first that wasn’t an excuse. She said she kept thinking “when is it going to stop,” when will people hear her scream. She said she was battered, bleeding and had a swollen face. She didn’t have a plan. He had never done this before. She also said she still loved him and wished him well.
