My Daddy is Michael Jordan I’m Not Wearing NO ADIDAS!!!!
What the hell does Marcus Jordan look like wearing Adidas? Nike has paid for this young mans lifestyle with a little help from the NBA. Marcus Jordan signed on to go to the University of Central Florida who has a multimillion-dollar contract with Adidas that specifically states, all of its coaches and athletes are to use Adidas shoes and equipment. Adidas paid the school $3 million so far and are now upset because Marcus, Michael Jordan’s 18 year old son refuses to wear the brand showing up in Nike’s Air Jordan’s.
Marcus is not backing down. He made these remarks:
“When I was being recruited, we talked about it,” he tells the Orlando Sentinel. “They said they had talked to the Adidas people, and it wasn’t going to be a problem. I think everybody understands how big of a deal it is for my family.”
He also says that he means no disrespect to Adidas and will happily wear other Adidas product, “but the shoes are going to be Jordan brand.” Adidas paid the school, they didn’t pay Marcus, thats one. I’m sure the games will be sold out with the possibility of MJ being in the stands, thats two. Somebody needs to put an end to schools using college athletes, making all this money off them and the athletes benefiting only by a meal plan. Enough already.
