He named his son Walker Diggs. “I was reading Alice Walker and just loved the way the last name rang. We had a bunch of other names as well, “but that one kind of won out.”
As for fatherhood, the new dad could barely contain his excitement. “I love it,” he gushed. “I’m just starting at it. I can only imagine it’s just going to get better.”
Even though “every day is completely different”, Diggs is “smiles all the time.” source

I’m grew up in the era where we “sang out loud…I’m BLACK and I’m PROUD.” I’m also a firm believer that “Black is Beautiful.” So with that said, I can’t help but wonder…when a Black man (or woman) have a child with the “other” race (don’t hate — Blacks are oftentimes referred to as “those people”) …but when a Black person has a child that looks more like the “other race” and not like the child is Black…does that person feel….no “wish” their child did look more “BLACK?” I’m just curious. Because I know I love being BLACK and I want all my children, grandchildren and beyond to remain “Black.” THIS IS JUST A COMMENT. IT IS NOT MEANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD!!!
The way i see it mixing races is beautiful. it is whoever u like. my son is half white, black and puerto rican. he is the most gorgeous lil baby. r u sayin that u wouldnt love ur grandkids or any member of ur family if they were mixed. ur just a racist who has no idea about the other races. people r people who love who they love. my whole family is mixed and i look like im spanish but im spanish and black and my husband is white. i love him 2 death. u shouldnt knock it before u try it.
