Jada! Jada!
New York authorities raided an apartment in Yonkers leased to Jadakiss, real name Jason Phillips and seized more than six and a half founds of cannabis, five grams of heroin, and about $40,000 in cash. Two men were arrested near the crime scene that gave police cause for a search warrant.
25 year old Alberto Lajara and his passenger, Gabriel Henriquez, attracted police attention while they were parked on the sidewalk and the smell of marijuana was coming from their car and a bag of weed was found on the console according to The Journal News. After further questioning and a small chase, the suspects were apprehended and it was found out that that Henriquez had a room inside the apartment although it seems highly unlikely that Jadakiss used the apartment as his primary residence.
Jadakiss is not wanted in connection with the bust and was nowhere near the crime scene.
