Maxwell is about to do something that hasn’t been done in a while
Maxwell is about to sell some records, something living and breathing artists have been able to do in a while. He performed on the Early Show this morning.
Maxwell’s new album BLACKsummers’night, which is his first release in eight years, should debut at #1 on next weeks charts. Maxwell is predicted to sell between 275-300K. When is the last time an R&B or Hip Hop album sold more than 40, 50, or 60K in its first week? It’s been a while.
