Ali Wise, a Dolce & Gabbana party planner, was booked Wednesday on charges of hacking her way into another socialite’s voice mail. Ms. Wise is well-known on the party circuit and director of entertainment public relations for Dolce & Gabbana, was arrested Tuesday after confessing to cops that she had bought computer spyware to sneak into interior designer Nina Freudenberger’s voice mail, police sources and court records said.
Wise snooped from Jan. 2 until March 15 and listened to her victim’s voice mail messages some 54 times, according to court records. Wise, 32, allegedly used SpoofCard – a computer service that can weasel past phone passwords – to listen to her victim’s voice mail messages. She refused to comment last night.
Freudenberger, 29, recently discovered the breach and reported it to the cops on Tuesday.
Wise, whose photos are splashed across society Web sites, was arraigned yesterday in Manhattan Criminal Court on felony charges of computer trespass and eavesdropping. Dolce & Gabbana executives could not be reached for comment last night.
