Mariah Carey performed yesterday at Michael Jackson’s memorial. She sang live and she have a few slip ups. I dismissed it because of the emotion that was flowing and turns out that’s why. This is what she wrote on Twitter:

I can sympathize with her lack of a stunning performance given the magnitude of why she is even performing. How many people can say that they could successfully pull of a song while emotionally charged due to the death of a worl idol and/or friend… now that’s something to think about.
