Kelly Bensimon from The Real Housewives of New York gets Community Service
The not-so-glamourous task of community service awaits the “Real Housewives of New York City” star who landed in criminal court after being accused of slugging a boyfriend. Kelly Bensimon accepted a deal Monday that will purge her of misdemeanor assault charges if she completes two days of community service and stays out of trouble. ”I’m very pleased,” Bensimon said. (I hope they make her pick up trash)
“Justice was served.” The reality TV star/model/editor, was arrested in March after bruised beau Nicholas Stefanov called police to report Bensimon walloped him during a lovers’ quarrel at her Manhattan apartment. While Stefanov, 30, has called Bensimon a “great girl” and expressed hopes for a reconciliation, his ex said he’s in need of a reality check. “We don’t have a relationship,” Bensimon, 40, sniffed outside the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse. “He was someone in my home who would not leave.” Stefanov, who got a black eye in the blowup, could not be reached. source
