Some celebrities are becoming very frustrated with the new craze and micro-blogging site Twitter as well as it’s owners. Twitter has been all the talk lately with many celebrities taking blogging into their own hands but there are some down sides to Twitter as well. Anyone can sign up for a Twitter account as long as you have an email address. When you sign up you can take on any name that you want as long as its available. Somebody took the name Keith Olbermann, and someone else took on the Twitter name Kim Kardashian. These two twit names among many more have become a problem because they have thousands of followers that believe that they are actually following the real television personalities. Keith Olbermann called Twitter “The worst persons of the world” in the famous segment of his show. Olbermann stated that he has contacted Twitter repeatedly and they still won’t shut the impersonator account down. Kim Kardashian also contacted the company and its representatives to no avail. Twitter is a great place to keep in contact but if you don’t secure your name first, someone else will. It is hard for Twitter to regulate what names people use, if someone was using “Superhead” could Karrine Steffans complain, if you are named Kim Jackson and there’s a famous Kim Jackson, should they be able to take it away from you? For every Tasha Smith there’s a thousand more, so unless they start asking for birth certificates and social security cards….somebodies going to be mad. For those of you who want to follow me on Twitter, you can do so by clicking

that’s horrid. especially if the real people contact twitter. I thought twitter actually took it seriously when people were fake, perhaps I’m wrong
Yeah, both of them were really upset but theres many more out there with fake accounts.
