Free back on 106 and Park discussing abuse
Free came back to 106 and Park for the first time since she was let go. Everybody and their momma’s are exploiting this Chris Brown/Rihanna fight for as many ratings as they can get. I think that this needs to play out in the court system before shows like Oprah (who needs to sit her ass down) and Morning Joe start handing out advice and saying we shouldn’t purchase their music anymore. Nobody really knows what happened that night except for Chris and Rihanna and Rihanna hasn’t uttered one word, not one. Oprah has this huge voice and could do so much for so many issues but yet she’s jumping on this one without knowing the real facts. I just think theres a time and place for everything and it shouldn’t be before all the facts are in or the case is tried in court. The stories that have already been reported as factual by TMZ aren’t even accurate. So, if you were an advocate to teens and women about violence before, I applaud you, continue your work. However, if you’re jumping on this bandwagon because of who these two young people are, (Tyra, Oprah) think about their families, their lives and futures while your in a race for ratings.

On March 13, 2009 at 11:48 amThankyou so much for saying THIS. I’ve been screaming the SAME THING since the whole saga jumped off. People are destroying these two young peoples’ lives but crucifying them in the media. I expect it from the tabloids but when ET! and Oprah and Tyra jump on the bandwagon for ratings purposes, I think it’s gone a lil too far. I commend Diddy for supporting these two and keeping it REAL about the whole situation. No one can judge you but God and I with hold any assumptions and presumptions until the FACTS are out and that means Chris and/or Rihanna speak on it. Until then – I wish everyone else would just shut their mouths because those pointing fingers and judging are the biggest hypocrites on the planet!!
