T.I. voted for the first time…
Grammy award winning artist Clifford Harris known as T.I. speaks to media as he leaves the Henry County Voters Registration Office after voting during early, Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 in McDonough, Ga. This is the first time Harris has ever voted. “Feels like I’ve taken advantage of my right to become a part of the democracy,” said T.I. “It was definitely worth standing in line and doing all the things people complain about voting. I think it’s more than worth it.”
T.I. originally thought that he couldn’t vote because he is a convicted felon until he researched and learned that under Georgia law felons are eligible to vote if they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.
