David Letterman blasts McCain
David Letterman was upset and dissappointed in John McCain last night. He was upset because McCain backed out of a Letterman show for political reasons and said he was on his way to Washington well he wasn’t on his way to Washington. He went to another tv show instead. Letterman was so upset that he called in Keith “John McCain’s worst nightmare” Olbermann to fill in. McCain you don’t quit, you use your VP to take over, Letterman said. He questioned where Sarah Palin was and why she wasn’t capable of taking over the campaign. She can’t take over the campaign but she can run the government? Put in Sarah Palin, where is Sarah Palin? Letterman kept calling her the second string quarterback. He basically said this is not the way a hero acts and questions if McCain suspended the campaign because his poll numbers were down.
