Usher hires his mother back as manager, bye bye to Pretty Benny
Now Usher said he retired Jonetta Patton to be a grandmother, so she could enjoy that job. He has learned that his professional career was hurting without her overseeing it. He couldn’t do it without her. Usher has fired Pretty Benny Medina (the manager that replaced his mom) and rehired mother, Jonetta Patton.
You might get tired of having to answer to your mother on business and personal levels as an adult but she will definitely take care of you better than anybody in the industry. I think Usher found that out. Let’s see if he makes an official statement.

I’m telling you the whole time he was with benny I could see his career falling. It’s crazy how someone could be at the top. Take a break for 3 years and come back half assing everything. WTH! No wonder he didn’t sell as much. I wonder how his cologne did?
