Bernie Mac hospitalized with Pneumonia, again!
Bernie Mac is being treated in a Chicago hospital for pneumonia. He was admitted on Friday and is expected to make a full recovery.
His rep Danica Smith has repeatedly asked for the press and others to respect Bernie Mac and his family. “We once again ask that the press respect his privacy and that of his family. Mr. Mac is responding well to treatment and will be released soon,” says Danica Smith. Bernie Mac whose real name is Bernard Jeffery McCullough was diagnosed in 2005 with sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in organs such as the lungs or lymph nodes.
