Mario Lopez is the new solo host of Extra

Mario Lopez has served as a correspondent for Extra and co-hosted its weekend shows since January 2007. He’s now kicking Dayna Devon and Mark McGrath to the curb. He will host the show by himself and Dayna will fill in for him. You take my job and the bosses want me to stick around and fill in for you, yeah right.
Dayna Devon will be reporting, doing celebrity interviews and “celebrity lifestyle” stories in addition to filling in for Mario.
