Lil Scrappy stabbed, in jail and charged with gun possession, weed possession and more
24 year old rapper Lil Scrappy born Darryl Richardson was involved in a violent incident last night in Dekalb County that landed him in jail. He was stabbed and later arrested. It appears he was trying to defend/help his sister, who was being assaulted by a boyfriend of hers. As a result, Scrappy was stabbed but not in any sort of life threatening danger. The police arrived on the scene found $8 thousand, a gun and 2 pounds of weed in Scrappy’s possession. He is being charged with 2 felonies, marijuana possession and firearm possession along with 2 misdemeanors for obstruction and battery. Lil Scrappy is currently still in custody. He has a bail of $1500 for the misdemeanors but none has been set for the felony counts as of yet. Until an amount is set he will sit in the Dekalb County jail.

On July 19, 2008 at 10:20 pmI was just thinking…how did Scrappy get stabbed when he arrived at the scene with a gun. You can look at it two ways: 1. he clearly went there just to help his people out and not purposely to harm anyone or 2. he was just stupid, getting stab while armed with a gun.
