They invited family and friends to Mariah’s estate in the Bahamas for the wedding but the guest thought they were joining the couple for a music video shoot. The only ones who had any inkling of the nuptials were those who had seen the couple’s matching back tattoos. Hers reads “Mrs. Cannon” and his “Mariah.” Da Brat was one of the guest at the ceremony. They ate live Maine lobsters and sipped Dom Pérignon champagne flown in for the beachfront ceremony.
“I haven’t been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, ‘Don’t pass out,’ ” Cannon told People about the ceremony.
